Ka Muso Kai offers Summer 2014 Martial Arts Seminars in Calgary

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting two Japanese swordsmanship seminars in Calgary this summer. If you are interested in any of the arts being offered this is the perfect time to come check them out! As always, beginners are welcome.


The Arts

Iaido - The art of drawing the sword. Performed solo with a wooden or metal sword.
Jodo - The art of the staff. Two person art using a wooden sword and a short staff (Jo).
Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu - Two person art using either a wooden longsword, shortsword, or two swords at the same time.
Kage Ryu - The art of drawing the long-long sword (nodachi/choken). Performed solo with wooden or metal choken.

Seminar 2

Arts Offered: Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu/Kage Ryu
Dates: Friday August 13th to Sunday August 15th, 2014
